MacOS auto-unzipped the HTML manual for my LG TV incorrectly - folder names were strung together in the filenames and all files were in the parent folder. StuffIt Expander unzipped it correctly so the manual is now usable

This app is a must-have app for mac!

Not only is it hidden until you need it to open extensive files, but it opens almost anything foreign that wouldnt open in the past. A need for any mac user.

if you own a mac, you are bound to eventually find .sit archives or some other formats that the standard unarchiver wont open. this app comes to the rescue

It doesnt just get the job done, its a really well done app. Kudos! (Ive used probably every old version and this one made me smile)

I rember this was the default unarchiver on macosx 10.3!!!

IT SIMPLY WILL NOT EXTRACT PASSWORD PROTECTED .RAR FILES. I HAD TO USE ANOTHER APP TO OPEN THESE FILES. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE FILES, PASSWORDS INPUTED CORRECTLY AND DOUBLE-CHECKED. SMITHMICRO TEAM, PLEASE LOOK INTO IT AND FIX THIS BUG!!!!!

This app pompts me for registration EVERY time I launch it, even though Ive clicked the "DO NOT REGISTER" button SEVERAL TIMES. I downloaded this in the app store, I dont feel the need to give out any more personal information. I DONT WANT TO REGISTER, thats why I clicked the "DO NOT REGISTER" button! Other than that annyoance and having to babysit the program when all I want to do is un-zip a file, the program does its job effectivly.

Very simple and effective app, Set to become the standard.

Converting .rar files to mp3 was a breeze. Easy as pie and no hiccups.

Stuffit expander is comfort food to me.

I have used Stuffit Expander since 2005 and it has never failed me. Stuffit Ex. is to Mac what WinRar is to Windows.Free and Reliable! Thanks guys:]

Easily one of the best apps out there

Thanks to this app i can torrent $100 sample packs and use them in Logic Pro! If i could give it more than 5 stars i totally would… Anybody who gives this a bad review has obviously not used it to its full potential.

Used the app once then prompted for me to register. After I clicked on "Do Not Register" the app wouldnt work anymore...
