Doesnt work with .001 .002 .003 etc.. files.

Ive installed it on two different computers and on one it doesnt expand automatically the compressed files. I checked the Preferences menu but there is no setting for that. Weird.

Just like the previous review, it doesnt work with .rars that have been separated. The Unarchiver is much better.

Cant unrar any of my (not separated) RARs built a year aho on Windows, wich I never had any problems with old Staffit Expander before App Store. This version requires lots of testing and fixes, it is quite raw. And dont like this Logo+Progress bar idea, regular progress popup (like in 13.0 before App Store) looks much better.

I believe there are a few apps that are must haves for every mac like caffiene, evernote, Guidance (For Muslims Only), GMail Notifier (Only for the users of GMail) and Calender. Stuffit Expander is one of those must haves. An excellent alternative of Winzip or Winrar on a pc.

I read all the other reviews and was obviously concerned, but said to myself, "Its free." Listen to that voice. My friend who sends me audio files, compressed in rar format, can continue to do so, becuase it seems to work just fine for that.

This app is great for occasionally uncompressing files. It would be great if it could also compress files too.

Does what it is suposed to do and does it well! simple and easy to use! perfect app!

when i click on the .jar that i want to expand it doesnt do anything

It acts like WINRAR for mac…

The app claims to unarchive 7z files; clicking on a 7z file results in the app starting, then silently exiting w/o unpacking any files. Manually started the app, told it to prompt for location to place unarchived files; it would then prompt me for a location, but unpacked no files. Downloaded "The Unarchiver" instead, and it instantly unpacked all the files in the 7z file in question. Uninstalled the app; it may work for you, but it didnt work for me. Bit surprised -- Ive used and known Stuff-IT for more than a decade, and would have expected flawless operation.

To be straight forward, this is a simple app, it does what itas supposed to do while not taking up any space on the Mac.

Hello, I am wondering if this is going to be updated to version 16 that has been just released? Thanks for continuing support for this product, I was afraid that it was going to become abandonware.

This application is the oldest for Mac Users. However, I was surprized the animation on the purchasing the app. The icon moved to the Dock automatically. And the icon appeared on the desktop as like iPad app. Its quite beutiful usere interface. Pretty cool! Of course the app runs so fast. このアプリはMacユーザにとって最も歴史のあるものです。しかしながら、このアプリを買うときのアニメーションに驚かされました。アイコンがドックに自動的に移動したのです。さらにiPadアプリのようにデスクトップにアイコンがでました。非常に美しいインターフェイスです。なかなかクールです。もちろん動作は軽快です。

Программа неплохая, но есть проблема с кириллицей, если архив, сделанный на маке открывается на Windows-компе и наоборот. Nice app, but here is some problems with Russian language. Archives of files with titles on the russian language (if they were made on PC) opens with titles of strange signs. And the same thing if I open Mac-made archive on PC.
